Victorious Secret have been crowned Bracknell Forest Standard Summer League champions after a dramatic night at Edgbarrow Sports Centre.

The BMW boys went into the game tied on points with both 3M FC and Manor Old Boys, and needed Bracknell Boys to do them a favour against Manor if they were to stand a chance.

And Bracknell Boys duly rose to the challenge as they saw off Manor Old Boys 4-3, meaning Victorious Secret’s 4-1 defeat of FC Royals handed them the trophy.

Sven Hovden (2), Patrick Anderson and Matt O’Brien scored the goals that gave Victorious their decisive seventh victory, while James Evans netted in reply for Royals.

Bracknell Boys fought back from 3-1 down to earn victory against Manor.

Manor took the lead through Stuart Halliday, Brent Swaden and Dave Jones, but a strike from Mike Watson and a brace from Andy Brint drew Bracknell level, before Dan Walker scored the goal that handed Victorious the title.

Their defeat also meant that 3M secured second spot through superior goal difference.

Unreal Madrid notched the biggest goal tally in a single league game as they defeated The Imps 14-2.

Luke Whitehorn and Darren Large each scored hat-tricks, while braces apiece for Tim Bovingdon,

Tom Cooper, Jack Reid and Warren Ludford gave Unreal their emphatic victory.

Andy Shora scored a brace in reply for Imps.

The final game in the league saw Keltar Vigo secure fourth spot with an 8-2 defeat of Norfolk An Hope.

Keltar’s Rob Candlish scored four times to make sure the race for top goalscorer went down to the wire, but he finished one goal short of golden boot winner Mark Tyler’s tally of 12.

Tom Fruin (2), Adam Withers and Chris Wyatt were also on the score sheet, while Scott Sim and James Barnes scored for Norfolk, for whom goalkeeper Chris Goodall was in fine form.
