Staff to recieve less despite council's £1m redundancy payout

Nearly £1 million in council redundancy costs are to be rubber-stamped next week, however staff are set to receive far less in their severance package following a cost-cutting decision made three months ago.

On Monday, Bracknell Forest Council’s employment committee is to approve plans for 22 redundancies, as well as recommend plans for a further 44 redundancies be finalised once public consultations regarding service cuts have ended.
