Potholes get lasting repairs in £100,000 spend

Huge potholes caused by the big freeze in more than 50 roads around Bracknell are being repaired.

Bracknell Forest Council’s highways team and staff from Ringway Infrastructure Services have just started the second wave of repairs to the roads.

The £100,000 extra spending will involve temporary road plugs being removed and lasting repairs made.

The council says work done to roads in January and February was a stopgap measure and now the weather has improved the teams are in a position to do further work.
