A-level results: Garth Hill College

At Garth Hill College, students achieved a 100 per cent pass rate with 40 per cent scoring A*-Bs and 72 per cent getting A* to C grades.
Best friends Megan Jones and Tiffany Amuah both studied English literature, history and geography and will be heading to the University of Leeds to read English literature and history.
Megan, 18, from Binfield, got two A*s and one A. She said: “I can’t wait for uni – now we are going out to celebrate.”
Tiffany got an A* and two As and has decided to opt for different halls to Megan so the pair can make lots of friends and bring the two groups together.
She said: “I was genuinely very shocked when I opened my results.”
Principal Keith Grainger said: “We are thrilled with these results and delighted for all of our students.”
