A-level results: Ranelagh School

By Hugh Fort
August 24, 2012

More than half the 94 pupils taking exams at Ranelagh School gained A*-B grades as Bracknell Forest’s only academy school recorded a 96 per cent A-level pass rate.

Headteacher Kathy Winrow said she was ‘delighted’ at the results which alongside the schools excellent International Baccalaureate grades earlier this year mark a successful year.

Top achiever was Mark Spiller, who is off to Oxford University after gaining three A* grades and an A.

Other mentions go to George Chapman, Gemma Fynn and Liam Gallagher, who all got four A*s or As.

Mrs Winrow said: “I am really delighted with the A-levels.

“We had 94 students take the exams, which is a lot and the results, as well as our International Baccalaureate results, are excellent.”
