Bracknell Forest Standard photography competition
July 09, 2009
Fancy yourself as a good photographer? Get creative and show off your skills in this year’s Bracknell Forest Standard online photography competition.
It is open to anyone living in Bracknell Forest who thinks they have what it takes, so why not get involved?
Supported by Bracknell Regeneration Partnership and Bracknell Forest Council, the competition aims to get some fantastic photographs in support of Bracknell’s Britain in Bloom entry.
Entrants are encouraged to use their imagination on the detail of the picture, but it must feature something in the borough – gardens, flowers, wildlife or the environment; take your pick.
For extra marks, get really inventive and base your photograph around this year’s Bracknell in Bloom 2009 theme, which is Local Roots. There are three age categories – under nines, nine to 16 year olds and 17 and over.
The competition will be judged by professional photographers at the Bracknell Forest Standard.
Winning photos will be posted on the getbracknell.co.uk website and may also appear in an exhibition area to be set up in the town centre.
Send your entries to editorial@bracknellstandard.co.uk Photographs should be in RGB JPG format which should be no larger than 10Mb. Make sure you include your name and address and where the photograph was taken. Please include the words 'Bracknell Forest Standard online photography competition' in the subject line.
Judges decision is final and usual terms and conditions apply
