Blazers are national baseball champs

Bracknell Blazers  won the British National Baseball Championships on Sunday.

After losing to reigning champs London Mets on Saturday, Blazers had it all to do on Sunday, but a revenge victory over the Mets, on top of wins over Herts Falcons and Richmond Flames saw Bracknell crowned champions.

— Bracknell Baseball Club plays host to a series of games between the Great Britain Junior Squad and their Swedish counterparts from Friday to Sunday.

The games will take place at Westmorland Park, Warfield.

A single game will start Friday at 4pm, two games will begin on Saturday at 11am and another double header will play out from 11am on Sunday.

This is the first time the Junior Squad will have hosted a visiting national team since 2003.
