Peter Munk was crowned Royal Ascot Golf Club champion at the club’s championships over August 1 and August 2.
Munk hit a first-round 67 and then followed that up with a 64 to finish on a combined 131.
In second was local lad Mark Timms, whose double 66 saw him finish one shot behind on 132,
In third was a new member, Bill Koen, and playing of three handicap he hit a net 64 and 69 to finish on 133.
Koen also took the hounours in the Scratch Cup with his rounds of 67 and 72.
— Ninety-six ladies from 26 different clubs played in teams of three at The Ladies Open Meeting.
It was a very successful day with the winners being Alison Henley, Gill Harper and Elaine Watts from Hoebridge Golf Club with 84 points.
The event also raised money from the raffle for The British Polio Fellowship.
— Tina Kilmister and Chris Clarke were victorious in the Lady Members Guest Day on Monday.
The pair won with a magnificent 47 points, followed closely in second place by Tricia Taylor and Maureen Carter (45 points) and then Angela Kokaram and Trish Barnette (39 points).
