Bracknell Baseball Club celebrate a superb season

Bracknell Baseball Club held the annual end-of-season celebration on Friday evening to pay tribute to yet another fine year at the club.
Over 40 players (pictured right) from all sections, and many parents, participated in a large-sided game of softball, clearly won by Team A over Team B – although no-one can remember who played for which team!
The players then dug into some chilli and hot-dogs as a post-match reward.
The club holds its official presentation night Saturday, October 11, which includes the presentation of participation certificates and the Vernon Award, given to players who have made outstanding contributions to the club this season.
Bracknell hosts the British Baseball Federation’s AA Final on Sunday after it was rained off this month. The Sidewinders and Bournemouth Sharks will start their game at 1pm.
