Sponsorship drive for local sporting clubs

The Wokingham Times series have teamed up with Hollywood Bowl in Bracknell to organise the largest sponsorship drive for sporting clubs that the Wokingham and Bracknell area has ever seen.

As part of the ‘Striking Out’ initiative, clubs that cater for youngsters in the area will be offered a free lane at Hollywood Bowl and then members of the local business community will be invited along to discuss sponsorship.

If a potential sponsor manages to talk to at least five different clubs, they will be offered a free game of bowling for themselves and their children.

The initiative is an opportunity for local businesses to meet sports clubs and improve relations, while also providing an opportunity for companies to showcase their desire to help out the community.
