London Irish's Delon Armitage cited

April 29, 2011

London Irish full-back Delon Armitage’s World Cup dreams could be in jeopardy after he was cited for allegedly striking Stephen Myler during the dying minutes of Exiles’ 26-20 defeat to Northampton last Saturday.

The 27-year-old will face a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing in London   on Tuesday and if found guilty could miss England’s clash with the Barbarians on May 29 and the Saxons' Churchill Cup campaign in June.

Armtiage has only just returned from an eight-week suspension, imposed on him for pushing an anti-doping officer.
