Milton Keynes Lightning 2 Bracknell Bees 5

By Alan Manicom
13/10/2008

Joe Greener bounced back from a sickness bug by scoring two goals for Bees on Saturday night.

His first, on a powerplay, was the only strike in the first period. And after a goalless middle session, Canadian forward Jeff Hutchins made it 2-0.

Greener added Bracknell’s third goal before Andre Smulter got Milton Keynes off the mark.

Andrius Kaminskas restored Bees’ three-goal advantage, only for Smulter to reduce the deficit again.

But Peter Jasik took advantage of an empty net to wrap up the scoring and seal victory.
