Golf day lift for air ambulance

September 20, 2010

A high-flying lifesaving charity is set to reap the benefits of around £3,000 raised at a charity golf day.

The Rotary Club of Ascot held its annual Golf Day on Thursday last week at Chobham Golf Club.

The £6,000 raised will be divided between the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance and the Rotary Club’s charity fund.

President Beverley Williams said: “We are delighted to be able to raise this amount in the current financial climate.”
