A footballer who suffered a horrific leg injury in a Sunday league match earlier in the year is making a good recovery.
Winkfield FC captain Andy Parslow broke his leg in two places in a game against Fernhill FC in March.
The injury was so serious doctors thought at one point he could lose his leg.
This was not the case, but Andy was told to expect a long time out of the game.
Winkfield boss David Colborn said Andy was now off crutches and continuing his physiotherapy.
He said Andy it was likely Andy would not play at all this season but that he was hopeful he would return for the start of the 2013 season.
