Hopeful, I refuse to breath in, mainly on the basis that I'm far too fat and the bulk would only be dispersed to other areas (rendering me even more unattractive than usual).

Heating? What are the chances?

Well have to agree to disagree. Think most Reading fans can't wait for a trip to a new ground for most i'm sure. So no need to call people a spanner

Well there we go then... I hope they've got pitch heating for an early Jan game.

Breathe in chaps... it'll be a squeeze!

Hopeful, FA Cup ties cannot be changed for finance reasons. They can only be changed for safety or security reasons and only with the permission of the FA. As all league clubs must be safe and secure it would rule out any swap. I believe that a non league club can change with the FA's sayso. If granted it would have to be played at the nearest suitable ground.

Hopeful Hoops, what a joke comment! Why on earth would they want to swap, money does not come in to it. If we drew a PL side at Elm Park would we off swapped it, the fans would not have it at all

Not only was swapping home advantage banned, the FA also banned moving an FA cup tie to a "netural ground". Therfore, the game couldn't be played at Selhurst Park, or anywhere else for that matter.

There is no chance whatsoever of switching the tie. The FA banned swapping grounds a few years ago.

Sir Steve, 'romance of the cup', possible upset - all the makings for a live televised match?

No chance of a switch in venue, Hopeful. Besides, Crawley will fancy their chances.

I've a feeling this could be an upset, with the big spenders ejected from the competition.

Reading win!

No disrespect to Crawley, but this fixture should be reversed. Their ground's seated capacity is less than they could be given with just the South Stand at the Mad Stad!

Give the Crawley fans free coaches to the Mad Stad and maybe half a tier of the West Stand if needs be. Holding it at the Madejski would generate far more gate money for both clubs!

I'm sure that major respect will be shown by all RFC fans.

With added meaning to the game, hopefully be on live TV , I hope so, long way for me !
