Kebe back for trip to Wigan
November 23, 2012
Jimmy Kebe may feature for Reading against Wigan Athletic tomorrow.
Manager Brian McDermott said the 28-year-old winger could recover from a groin strain in time to be in contention for the trip to the DW Stadium.
Goalkeeper Alex McCarthy (shoulder) has returned to light training. Danny Guthrie (thigh) hopes to return to training this Sunday, while Jem Karacan (knee) has started running but is still ‘not quite right’ according to McDermott.
Meanwhile, Lawson D’Ath has had his loan spell extended at Cheltenham Town, where he will be joined by fellow midfielder Jake Taylor until January 2.
Mikkel Andersen has returned from a loan spell at League One strugglers Portsmouth to fight it out with Adam Federici, McCarthy and Stuart Taylor for the No. 1 spot.
