Adam Federici has pulled out of the Australia squad through injury.

The Reading goalkeeper, who has made a number of high-profile errors this season, is rehabbing with physios at Hogwood Park this week.

Federici had been called-up for the Socceroos' games against Lebanon and Jordan.

leave him alone, you were all to quick to build him as a superman last year couple of eras snd he's got to be taken up the top field and burnt at the stake, i am sure other players heve made mistakes this season, but lucky for them they are not the last man. give the bloke a break as you would not be in the prem if it weren't for his performances last year.

short memories some people and he will come good in time

Nothing has changed in my eyes; Feds is a very good keeper; the same keeper that kept 20 clean sheets last season. He has made errors yes and he does not need fans reminding him. He needs the backing of all fans believe me he does. He will get back to normal soon enough.

Guys- Just one word of warning. Do you think that vilifying him will improve his confidence? If so then carry on reminding him and he may improve. If not then shut up and allow our boss to make the decisions.

HARB - I have been to All of the 3 matches this season, 3 mistakes - 3 goals scored.

We are entiled to comment of below par performances. Hunt came out blaming the ball, the fans backed him at the Peterborough games, it is now his turn to perform.

The posters on this news item make me sick - such short memories. It's a good job none of them play in goal - their eyesight is clearly dodgy. Otherwise they might have spotted that Feds has been carrying an injury this season. If there is one mistake he (and the management) has made, it's trying to play on with that injury.
