Reading FC 2 Wolverhampton Wanderers 1
By Jonny FordhamJuly 27, 2010
Kevin Doyle and Marcus Hahnemann will return to Madejski Stadium with Wolverhampton Wanderers tonight (8pm kick-off).
Brian McDermott’s Royals will face Mick McCarthy’s Wolves in the only home friendly of Reading's Championship build-up.
McDermott's men have so far won four of their five pre-season games and lost the other.
And you can follow all the action here live with Royals reporter Jonny Fordham from 7pm.

Speaking ahead of the game, McDermott said: “It's another good game and we'll be playing in front of our own fans.
“I spoke to Kevin the other day and he’s looking forward to coming back to the Madejski and I’m sure Marcus is too. They should both get a good reception from the fans.”
McDermott will make one change from the squad that beat Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 on Saturday with England Under-21 Alex McCarthy replacing Ben Hamer as the back-up keeper.
Reading from: Federici, Griffin, Mills (c), Pearce, Williams, Tabb, Howard, Kebe, Sigurdsson, McAnuff, Hunt, Long, McCarthy, Karacan, Church, Robson-Kanu, Anotonio, Gunnarsson, Taylor.

Financially you both bring nothing to my club, and therefore your opinion of me is worthless.
Hope this helps.

The Reading fans who went last night utterly disgust me, it was only a few short years ago that proper Reading fans were pelted with objects, assaulted by Wolves fans and left unprotected by Police who laughed in their faces. No apology was forthcoming by the club, and RFC distanced itself from backing up its own support.
Still, some of you lot went last night. Thankfully the majority of decent Reading fans shunned the game last night, fully aware of the history between the clubs. Numbers were low and I hope Doyle buggered off with a flea in his ear.

As I recall no apology was ever given to Reading support from Wolves, so stuff em. Bad move RFC, playing this rubbish in a ‘friendly’.
