Reading are weighing up a move for Tooting and Mitcham starlet Michael Antonio.
The 18-year-old was on trial in Reading’s reserve team victory over Brighton last week when he made an appearance in the second half of the 4-0 victory.
Attacking midfielder Antonio has scored four goals in six appearances for the Ryman League Premier Division side and was being watched by several clubs.
Tooting boss Bill Smith admitted: “It is certainly looking likely that he will go to Reading.
“The only hold-up at the moment is that we are hoping to get him back on loan for the rest of the season.
“If we didn’t want that it would probably already be a done deal.”
Church rejoins Wycombe
Simon Church has rejoined League 2 side Wycombe Wanderers on loan for two months.
The Wales Under-21 striker was at Adams Park for a month, but failed to score in four
appearances and also picked up a straight red card.
Federici
Adam Federici's initial one-month loan spell at Southend has come to an end. The Shrimpers
will decide in the next 24 hours whether they will extend the Australian goalkeeper’s stay at
Roots Hall.
