Shorey set to become Villan

Nicky Shorey is on his way to Aston Villa in a deal worth around £3million.

Villa look to have beaten off competition from Sunderland and Portsmouth after Reading accepted their bid for the left-back yesterday.

   im glad hes gone hes only got 1 foot his left and when he gets the ball with his right foot hes lost and cant do nothing with it so im glad hes gone.

   We should have got more than 3 million, but still not bad. Shorey hasn't played well for most of last season, so I would rather sign a better player who cares about Reading. Shorey let Reading down last season, so it is good that we are rid of him.

   He will probably buy another statue, we had a few of them last season in defence!

And how come we turned down £4 million and sold him for £3 million ????????

   We bought Shorey for £25k and sold him for a £2.5mill profit and bought Ginger Dave for £100k and sold him for a £5.4m profit. It is not time for Madjeski to splash the cash and get us back where we belong.
