AFC Hinksey FC 1 Bracknell Town FC 5By Darrell Freeland

After two defeats in FA competitions, Bracknell Town bounced back to victory in Hellenic Division 1 East with a deserved victory away at AFC Hinksey.
The main architect of the win was quick striker Jake White who helped himself to four goals, with Scott Williams bagging the other.
The hosts played a very high defensive line, and Robins looked to capitalise on it early as White and Eddie Gray both went close.
Hinksey had chances of their own, with Anaclet Odhiambo lobbing wide before Alex Frasoranti headed his side in front on 31 minutes.
A quick response was needed by the visitors – and they duly obliged.
Williams equalised in the 39th minute after Steve Nebbett’s cross was only half cleared, allowing the former Reading trainee to spectacularly volley home from 25 yards.
Less than two minutes later and White put the Robins ahead, Nebbett and Gray working the opening for the striker to fire into the far corner.
Hinksey started brightly after the interval and Chris Adams had to be alert to deny Adam Doyle.
With Bracknell on the back foot they countered quickly and substitute James Rogers picked out White who rounded Martyn Clark and scored from what seemed an impossibly tight angle on 63 minutes.
White had already hit the post when his hat-trick goal arrived 15 minutes from time, forcing Clark into a good save only to follow up and head in the rebound.
White's fourth was the easiest of the lot as Clark rushed out of his area but didn’t get to the ball and the Robins striker was presented with an easy finish into an empty net.
Hinksey caused problems and moved the ball around well, but ultimately Robins' pace and craft up front was too much as they ran out comfortable winners.
With four games in hand on some teams, Bracknell would love a run of league games, but it is not to be as they travel to Fairford Town in the AM Print & Copy Floodlit Cup tonight before the very tough game at Premier Division title chasing Witney Town on Saturday in the Bluefin Sports Insurance League Cup.
Bracknell Town: Adams, Alleyne, Brown, Nebbett (Jacques 87), Riddell, Roake, T. Barratt (Rogers 59), James, White (Cooper-Clark 82), Gray, Williams. Subs not used: Barrie, Elliott-Money.
