Holyport FC 3 Binfield FC 3 (aet, Binfield win 7-6 on penalties)By Colin Byers

Dan Weait was the hero as Binfield booked their second cup final spot in less than a week after beating Holyport in a dramatic penalty shoot-out in the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy on Tuesday.
After saving a first-half penalty to prevent his side going two behind, Weait then saved another vital spot kick in the shoot-out, before scoring the Moles sixth kick himself.
Watching Holyport’s eighth kick hit the bar to send his side through will have been especially satisfying for Weait, in a season when he has already excelled – and played every minute of the Hellenic Premier Division side’s current campaign.
The game was one which neither side really deserved to lose.
The lead swapped hands on more than one occasion, with an own goal and an Ian Davies strike accounting for Binfield’s goals as the game finished 2-2 after 90 minutes.
The home side regained the lead early in extra time, but the Moles exerted pressure on their opponents and should have had more to show than Ian Davies’ late equaliser, which set up a spot-kick shoot-out.
JP Jamil, Danny Wing, Carl Withers and Callum Whitty all slotted home from 12 yards for the Moles, with Weait saving Holyport’s second kick.
Carl Davies then had the agony of seeing Wayne Carter save what would have been the winning fifth kick for the Moles, so the shoot-out continued into sudden death when the hosts scored their fifth.
Weait then grabbed the ball and blasted home the Moles sixth penalty, before 17-year-old Jake Butler showed maturity beyond his years to send Carter the wrong way.
With Holyport matching the Moles kick for kick, Paul Shone stepped up and blasted Binfield ahead at 7-6.
Holyport then missed their eigth spot kick to spark wild jubilations among the Moles players and supporters.
They will now meet Abingdon Town in the final on Tuesday April 17.
A venue for the show down has yet to be confirmed.
