Danny Wing set the Moles on their way in this Hellenic Premier Division match with a sparkling first-half performance.
Wing scored the opening goal on 12 minutes, as he ran from the half-way line and exchanged a quick one-two with Carl Davies before beating Gareth Tucker from the edge of the box.
He continued to terrorise the Wantage defence for the rest of the half, but also showed his defensive qualities with an all-action performance.
Within seven minutes of Wing’s goal, the Moles led 3-0.
First Ian Davies was played in by James Partridge who lobbed the advancing Gareth Tucker.
Less than five minutes later, another flowing Binfield move saw Wing cross to James Suarez at the far post, who controlled and volleyed past the shell-shocked Tucker.
Wantage recovered well from conceding three times and took the game to Binfield, creating the better chances up to the half-time whistle.
Scott Dewar was played into the area by Graham Edney, but sliced his shot wide under pressure from Millward, while a strong penalty appeal was waved away on 37 minutes and Richard Claydon squandered a great chance in front of goal.
In the dying seconds of the half, Wantage gave themselves a lifeline when Edney cleverly peeled off the back of James Partridge and controlled a cross before smashing a left foot volley into the roof of the net.
Wantage made a bright start to the second half with Edney shooting high and wide.
At the other end Tucker had to save smartly with his feet after a great run and pull back from Carl Davies was almost put into his own net by by Rowe, with Ian Davies lurking behind him.
Both sides had chances to score the vital next goal with Binfield’s best chance falling to Ian Davies as Carl Withers played him through, but Tom Rowe did brilliantly to get back and block the shot.
Moments later, Niall Hodgkins had a good shot from 12 yards saved by Dan Weait, but when the ball squirmed from his grasp, he was relieved to see Edney’s follow up go wide.
Binfield continued to push for another goal and Carl Davies, ended his six-game goal drought as he sealed the win on 75 minutes, robbing Tom Rowe 40 yards out and surging into the box to beat Tucker.
Binfield ended the game strongly, with both the strikers threatening, but the game ended 4-1 to move the Moles into the top four.
