Binfield will welcome Wessex Premier side Fareham Town to Stubbs Lane for a replay after a 1-1 draw in their historic first appearance in the first round proper of the FA Vase.

The 10-man Moles had Justin McClurg to thank after he equalised to send the tie into extra time, and Steve McClurg’s side thoroughly deserved their replay.

Sandhurst Town advanced thanks to Mark Corbett’s 25-yard strike which earned a 2-1 victory over Warminster Town at Bottom Meadow.

Bracknell Town went some way to making up for their unfortunate FA Cup exit and banked the £2,000 prize money as they strolled past Malvern Town 2-0 in the FA Trophy preliminary round.

Neither side created much until Errol Telemaque’s volley was turned round the post by Craig Humphries, before the Robins broke the deadlock on 36 minutes.

A giant throw from goalkeeper Max Aneke set Nathan Jack free in the opposition half, and the powerful striker rounded centre-back Aaron Drake and Humphries to score. Jack was at the heart of Bracknell’s second with eight minutes to go.

Latching onto Telemaque’s through ball, he set up winger Ian Harvey to curl the ball in from the penalty spot.

Jon Bennett continued his hot streak with two goals in Ascot United’s 3-0 win over Waltham in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup, the other goal coming from Sam McIntyre.

But Wokingham & Emmbrook were dumped out by Reading Senior League side Westwood United who won 4-2 at Cantley Park.

Finchampstead were beaten 2-1 at home to Thame United in the Hellenic League Division 1 East
