Week 3 of the Bracknell Forest Standard Summer League saw second play third in a crunch game at Edgbarrow Sports Centre.
3M FC and Victorious Secret both boasted 100-per-cent records going into the game, but it was Victorious that emerged with the points as they claimed a 4-2 win.
Matt O’Brien, Ed Carpenter, Patrick Anderson and a Sven Hovden wonder-strike gave the boys from BMW the win.
Mark Tyler and Martyn Earl netted in reply for 3M.
It’s Manor Old Boys, though, that stay top of the table as they beat The Imps 4-1.
The Imps proved much more of a handful than they were last week, but goals at crucial times proved decisive.
A brace from Paul Baxter and further goals from Rob Pollock and David Jones earned Manor the points, but a beautiful chip from James Wilson gave Imps their consolation.
Keltar Vigo can’t stop scoring at the moment, and they made it 17 goals in two games with a 7-2 defeat of Unreal Madrid.
Rob Candlish went top of the goalscoring charts with a brace, while further goals from Stuart Clapson (2), Chris Wyatt, Lee Trowbridge and Richard Stokoe made the game safe.
The other match of the night saw a dramatic improvement by Norfolk An Hope, but they still went down 4-2 to The Bracknell Boys.
A Lewis Jones double and goals from Dan Walker and Andy Brint were enough to see Bracknell to the win, while a David Goodall penalty and a strike from James Barnes made the scoreline respectable for Norfolk.
