McDermott: Reading could have beaten Middlesbrough

Brian McDermott was delighted with Reading’s resolve as they battled from behind to earn a point against Middlesbrough at the Riverside.

In fairness, after being on the back foot for the opening 30 minutes it could have been a different story, but in the second half McDermott’s men stuck at it after Chris Killen put Gordon Strachan’s side ahead in the 47th minute.
