English honey will have run out by Christmas – the result of two rotten summers, says one downhearted beekeeper.

Phil Wharton says that his crop this year is the worst he’s had in 15 years producing honey and that by Christmas locally produced honey could all be gone.

Phil, from Woodside Road, Winkfield, said: “In beekeeping circles there is a lot of talk saying that British honey could run out by Christmas.
