SKIERS LIGHT UP THE NIGHT

SKIERS at the John Nike Leisuresport Complex in Bracknell put on a display with a difference last week.
Members of all ages and instructors at the complex's ski club slalomed down the 150-metre dry ski-slope in a synchronised routine carrying flares, which was then followed by a firework spectacular.
This was just one of several Bonfire Night events across Bracknell Forest that lit up the skies with an explosion of colour.
Around 1,000 onlookers gathered at Edgbarrow Sports Centre in Crowthorne to watch in wonder at the fireworks and enjoy the many attractions and refreshments.
Ascot Round Table put on an impressive display to music at the racecourse with all proceeds raised going to help local charities.
And Sandhurst Residents Association and local scouts organised a fancy dress competition at the town's event with a wonderful display beautifully reflected in the Balancing Lake.
