Two car collision causes queues

By Jennie Slevin
March 21, 2013

A collision between two cars has left drivers queuing for miles.

Police and ambulance teams were called to the incident, involving a Vauxhall Zafira and a Nissan, at 7.20am today (Thursday) near the Great Hollands roundabout, Crowthorne Road.

Surrey Travel posted on Twitter "A3095 An accident at Bracknell at the junction with South Hill Road is causing delays from Sandhurst, almost back to the Meadows Rbt."

A spokeswoman from Thames Valley Police said: "There was an ambulance crew treating one driver for minor injuries but they were not taken to hospital."

The road has remained open.

Sandhurst back to the Meadows. About 300 yards then!

I must have totally been asleep through all of these queues. Got in my car at 08:15 in Great Hollands, went to Birch Hill and then went to the Market and didn’t have any abnormal hold up at all. Rather strange!!

Ditto re the drivers though.

And should all the extra houses that are planned actually get built in East Berkshire and surrounding areas, incidents like this will happen more often and the delays and the queues will be even longer.

(Do hope the drivers of the two cars involved are OK)
