A motorcyclist who died after a crash on the A3 has been named as Dr Rajesh Parkesh from Ascot.
The 43-year old was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorbike collided with a London Ambulance Service vehicle parked partly on the central reservation and partly on the southbound carriageway, just after 10am last Thursday.
Surrey Police said earlier at 9.35am Brian Self, 77, from Epsom, fell from the bridge at Clayton Road, in Long Ditton, into oncoming traffic on the northbound carriageway and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rajesh's motorbike crashed into the ambulance, which was parked on the other side of the A3.
Police said a car was also involved in the collision.
Surrey Police's investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Gary Wright said: "We have already spoken to a number of witnesses to these incidents, both at the scene and following our initial appeal for information.
"I would ask anyone who saw either of these incidents who we have not already spoken to to get in touch as soon as possible.
"This was a tragic series of events which occurred in a very public setting and I would also urge anyone who has been affected by witnessing either of these incidents to seek appropriate support.”
