Drums sounded as a marching band led a parade after a Mother’s Day service.
The Sandhurst and District Corps of Drums were joined by Brownies, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Guides, following a service at St Michael and All Angels Church in Sandhurst on Sunday.
Brenda Davies, group leader of 3rd Sandhurst Scouts, said: “The parade is as much a part of being a Scout as camping.”
Youngsters gave their mums flowers, food donations were collected for Crowthorne Foodbank and a collection was made for the Mothers’ Union initiative at the church.
Mark Saunders, band director of the Drum Corps, said 2013 marks another busy year for the band with appearances including Sandhurst Donkey Derby on Monday, May 27, and the Royal Military Academy open day on Sunday, June 16.
Mayor of Sandhurst Cllr Dale Birch and wife Cllr Gill Birch also joined the service and parade.
