Barman glassed in brawl at The Goose pub

A woman has been cautioned for bottling a barman in the neck after she allegedly punched a customer in the face.

The 27-year-old was arrested and cautioned after the assault at The Goose pub, Station Road, at just after 11pm on Saturday night.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to a report of an assault where an employee allegedly witnessed the offender punch a customer in the face.

"A glass shattered which cut the employee and they were treated by ambulance staff."

An ambulance spokesman added: "We got called to the pub where a male of unknown age had been bottled in the neck.

"He was treated at the scene."
