Fears raised over thefts from cars

Drivers are warned to be aware when locking cars following concerns thieves may be lurking in car parks.
Following a number of thefts from cars, which owners thought they had locked, police believe criminals may be using special devices to tamper with car locking systems.
Vehicle owners are advised to not lock their cars from across a car park as the locking signal can be intercepted by the equipment.
Anyone with any information on these devices should contact police on 101.
