Overcooked dinner causes fire concern

An unfortunate amateur chef was left embarrassed after burning her dinner.
A fire crew from Bracknell was called out to the block of flats in Lower Village Road in Sunninghill at 4.30pm today (Saturday) after a smoke alarm alerted them to the cremated food.
Firefighter Richard Sage said: "We were only there for around 15 minutes.
"We ventilated the flat to clear the smoke and removed the pan from the hob."
