Woman left stranded on road after engine overheats

By Jennie Slevin
March 02, 2013

An alarmed driver was left stranded on a busy road when her car engine overheated.

A fire crew from Wokingham Road was called out to the car which had pulled over on the A329M between Winnersh and Coppid Beech at 10am today (Saturday) after the woman thought smoke was coming out of her bonnet.

The team relaxed when they saw the car and realised it was steam escaping from an overheated engine.

The firefighters remained at the scene until they were sure the driver would be collected by roadside recovery.

Are you ok Beef Cake? Who are you going to sue? Someone must be liable for this severe injury! I've had a bad week myself, my porridge exploded in the microwave this morning ~ one hell of a mess that took me ages to clean up. I'm not sure I'll ever recover from this :-(
