Bracknell man accused of illegally trading protected tortoises

A 36-year-old man has been charged with trading protected tortoises illegally.
Graham Martin, of Furze Platts, Bracknell, was charged yesterday (Sunday) with selling and offering to sell a protected species and three counts of unlawful use of a protected species for commercial gain in relation to Spur-thighed and Hermann's tortoises.
Martin was arrested on January 9 in connection with offences which allegedly took place between September 26, 2011 and November 25, 2012.
He has been released on bail is due to appear at Slough Magistrates' Court on March 11.
