MasterChef's Gregg Wallace filming in Waitrose Bracknell

By Becky Barnes
February 21, 2013

Surprised shoppers spotted MasterChef's Gregg Wallace filming in Waitrose today (Thursday).

The people of Bracknell took to social media after they saw the Weight Watchers ambassador with a film crew in the Bond Way supermarket this afternoon.

@LauraSharp_ tweeted: "Gosh Waitrose Bracknell is like a food documentary hotspot these days- hello to you too Gregg Wallace. #cameraseverywhere" while @trannyhannah tweeted @GreggAWallace: "just saw you in Waitrose, Bracknell looking well. Said Hello to you. What are you filming?" (sic)

A Waitrose spokeswoman confirmed the TV star was filming in store today but could not reveal the reason why until what was filmed is aired.

Youthline Bracknell Forest added: "Hope he put his green token in Youthline's cause."

Did you spot Gregg Wallace today? Tweet @getbracknell or send any snaps to becky.barnes@trinitymirror.com.

I like to save up all my green tokens and then on the first day of each month I have a look, if there is a proper worthy cause I dump them all in.

Otherwise I just keep on saving them.

Green tokens are not given out for bringing your own bags Carmella - honestly, it's not Tesco's you know!

Green tokens are given to every shopper as part of the Community Matters scheme. Do you see what they did there...?

Mr Jefferies, where have you been my dear? Fenton told me that he'd spied you in Dopson's purchasing scrag end and some of those delightful Crowthorne sausages.

Pip pip!

Green tokens are given to shoppers when they bring their own bags. They can then choose a charity to support, one of which is Youthline this month!!!
