Concerned neighbour calls firefighters to Warfield Park bonfire

By Jennie Slevin
February 20, 2013

Neighbours who spotted a burning mound of litter called firefighters out last night (Tuesday).

A crew from Bracknell was called out to the blaze, which had produced a large amount of smoke, at 7.30pm.

When the fire team reached the flames in Warfield Park Caravan Site they discovered a controlled bonfire.

A spokeswoman from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A neighbour did call in the fire as they could see from Harvest Ride, but they treated it as a false alarm when they got there."
