Police seek witnesses to horsebox theft

By Hugh Fort
February 20, 2013

Thieves stole a horsebox from Binfield which was then used in a failed attempt to steal building equipment from a school site in Hanworth.

The horsebox was taken from an address in Howe Lane between 6am and 8am today.

A dog-walker then spotted what is believed to be a group of men trying to take equipment left overnight at St Margaret Clitherow School in Pembroke Hanworth, at around 8am.

It is believed an unknown number of men were trying to load a small digger into the horsebox, but left when they were disturbed.

Anyone with information is asked to call Thames Valley Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
