Two-car smash in Winkfield

Two cars collided in Winkfield this afternoon (Monday).
Fire crews from Bracknell and Ascot stations were called the junction between Long Hill Road and Birch Lane at 2.30pm where a Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall Zafira had collided.
Bracknell crew manager Scott Pay said no one needed to be cut free from the crash and an older man was treated at the scene.
He added the firefighters made the area safe by disconnecting the batteries as a precautionary measure.
