Plans for nine homes in Deepfield Road up for discussion tonight

By Becky Barnes
February 14, 2013

Plans to build nine houses have been recommended for approval this evening despite 12 objections from neighbours.

Members of Bracknell Forest Council’s planning committee will view plans to demolish four houses and garages at the rear of Deepfield Road and replace them with nine three-bedroom houses.

Objecting residents claim the plans are out of keeping with the area, overbearing and will increase parking congestion.

A supporter of the plans said additional housing on ‘unused’ and ‘neglected’ land would benefit the community.

Planning officer Paul Corbett has recommended councillors give plans the green light subject to 32 conditions, which may combat some of the concerns.

The committee is due to meet at Easthampstead House at 7.30pm.
