Vets hunt for dog owner after lurcher is killed in collision

A dog died after it collided with a car in Crowthorne.
The brown brindle Lurcher died after the accident in Old Wokingham Road, near the Pinewood Centre, at around 10.30am yesterday.
Kynoch Vets, in Dukes Ride, is appealing for the owner to come forward after a passerby took the dead dog into the surgery.
A spokeswoman at the vets said the dog was not microchipped but was wearing a collar.
She added the incident was being reported to police.
