What is your favourite food? Chicken and Chorizo Paella (today) but my opinion WILL change tomorrow morning!
What is your favourite holiday destination? Tuscany for the scenery, food and wine and Croydon to remind me of what I'm missing in Tuscany.
What was the last book you read? The Mayor of Casterbridge. Thomas Hardy was a real lad’s author of his time.
What is your favourite TV programme? The made for TV series’ Band of Brothers’
What was your first pet and its name? Minnie, she was a cross between a Collie and a Labrador and dropped wind repeatedly like a flask of eggs
What is your favourite film? Damned United...for obvious reasons!
What painting or photo do you have on your wall or desk? A photo of all three of my children on my desk, a 'one music house point' certificate from my girlfriend and a swimming mask with 'P.Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney' written on it (a present from the 'Finding Nemo' film)
Who would your ideal dinner guests be? My children, my girlfriend, the Soup Dragon, Drooper from the Banana Splits and Sponge Bob.
What car do you drive? A BMW
What is your biggest regret? Being turned down for the role of director general of the BBC when I was 17
What makes you smile? Getting it right, whatever the context.
What was your first job? I operated a huge parallel track crane at a steelworks in Southampton
What hobby/hobbies do you have? Football, playing the guitar and um...football...
What do you like about Bracknell Forest? The majority of people who live in Bracknell Forest want their locality to be a place where good things happen! I like that!
What is the one thing you would like to change about Bracknell Forest and why? I would like more opportunity for people to make their locality a place where good things happen!
If someone could ask you one question what would it be and what would your answer be? Would you like to officiate in a Premier game? Yes please.
