Drivers warned of emergency gas works in Binfield starting tomorrow (Wednesday)

Drivers are warned of emergency gas repairs starting tomorrow (Wednesday) in Binfield.

The National Grid will be carrying out work to repair a gas leak in London Road.

The work will take place outside Moor Cottage Veterinary Surgery near the road's junction with Nevelle Close.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place while the work is carried out and drivers are advised to allow extra time for any journeys or to seek an alternative route.

A spokeswoman from Bracknell Forest Council said due to it being emergency work, it was not yet known how long the repairs would last for.

Wonderful! These will segue beautifully with the work a water company is doing, which closes one lane of the duel carriageway that leads to the Coppiid Beech Roundabout. This is already slowing things down to a crawl in the morning and evening rush hours. Bracknell, Wokingham and Traffic Management - words that just don't go together
