Dr Phillip Lee welcomes new Regional Growth Fund Cash
By Hugh FortFebruary 05, 2013
The next round of the coalition government's "relentless drive to support economic growth" has been welcomed by Bracknell MP Dr Phillip Lee.
More Regional Growth Fund cash has been made available to businesses and Dr Lee urges local companies to take part.
The Government has made £350 million available to help companies grow.
Dr Lee says the first three rounds have seen £339 million invested in the south-east, supporting 65,095 hibs,
He said: “I want to encourage all companies in Bracknell constituency to take advantage of this next round of investment from the Regional Growth Fund.
"This £350 million of investment will help businesses grow and could support thousands of new jobs in the Thames Valley.’
He added: “This fund is part of the Government’s relentless drive to support economic growth across the country and rebalance the economy.
"This is in addition to boosting investment in apprenticeships, making it easier to create new businesses, cutting regulation and encouraging existing firms to export.”

I wanted to add, when is this paper actually going to start asking the questions being raised by the people of Bracknell who are always questioning why we had Lee vomited on us by the BCA?

Or to save time copying the link above, Sir Jim Paice Tory MP for South East Cambridgeshire says "….want to encourage all companies in South East Cambridgeshire to take advantage of this next round of investment from the Regional Growth Fund. This £350 million of investment will help businesses grow and could support many new jobs in the constituency "
And guess what phrase East Worthing and Shoreham Tory MP Tim Loughton used?

Minimum bids of £1million.
It applies across England, not just the South East.
According to the Federation of Small Businesses - as of 2012 - there were 1,574,000 businesses in London and the South East, representing a third of totals.
Rough calculations suggest that this equals £222.30p for each business in those two regions alone.
In other words, the usual big boys in business will be the ones to benefit, and the small businesses in Bracknell will be unable to compete due to size.
As I said, banal and vapid waste of air from Lee.
