Burglars climb through open toilet window in Crowthorne

Laptops, jewellery, alcohol and cash were swiped when burglars raided a home in Crowthorne in broad daylight.
Thieves climbed a drain pipe and entered through an unsecured toilet window in Wokingham Road at some time during the day yesterday (Monday).
A police spokeswoman urged people in Crowthorne to be vigilant.
She said: "Police would ask that you share this information with your neighbours, encouraging them to report anything that looks suspicious, especially if there are unfamiliar callers attending properties where the owner is known to be out.
"Always secure windows and doors if you are away from your property."
