A lorry driver has died after he was found unconscious in a lorry which had hit a wall.
The man died in Royal Berkshire Hospital at around 6pm yesterday (Tuesday) after he was found in the service part of Downmill Road, in the Western Industrial Estate, at just before 4.30pm.
A fire spokeswoman said firefighters from Bracknell and Wokingham helped release the man from the lorry before ambulance crews took him to hospital in a critically-ill condition.
Police also attended after member of the public called 999 to report a lorry had collided with a wall and the driver was unconscious.
An ambulance spokesman said he could not speculate whether the man was unconscious before or after the smash.
