Caravan used to rear game birds given permission to stay

By Becky Barnes
January 28, 2013

A caravan used by game bird rearers has been given permission to stay on a farm.

The application for the permanent siting of a caravan at Kingscroft Farm, Kingscroft Lane, Warfield, was approved by Bracknell Forest Council on Monday.

Warfield Parish Council recommended refusal because councillors were ‘not satisfied from the facts available that the proposal of a mobile home was essential in the management and use of the land for rearing game birds’.

The caravan had been previously approved temporary planning permission in 2002 but Warfield parish councillors pointed out there had not been another application when the five years were up in 2007.
