Garden shed fire in Harmans Water

By Jon Nurse
January 21, 2013

Firefighters took to the snow in a new 4X4 fire engine as they dealt with a shed fire yesterday evening.

A crew from Bracknell fire station was called at 8.10pm to a home in Walbury off Uffington Drive.

The team arrived in the new vehicle, purchased specially for use on snow, to see smoke coming from the back garden shed and used a hose reel to put out the blaze.

Firefighter Rob Evans said: "The cause of the fire is unknown.

"It was not a massive fire but there was a lot of damage to the tools."

The crew attended the scene for around 45 minutes.
