Man denies Ascot murder charge

A 22-year-old man accused of murder will go on trial alongside a 21-year-old man charged with aggravated vehicle taking involved in a fatal accident.

Ricky Clarke-Dilly, of Grampian Way, Slough, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Simon Large, 24, from London at Reading Crown Court last Friday.

Simon died in St George's Hospital in Tooting after an incident in Ascot High Street in the early hours of Sunday, October 14.

Both Clarke-Dilly and Ryan Quartermaine of Mead Avenue, Slough, pleaded not guilty to aggravated vehicle taking involved in a fatal accident.

Clarke-Dilly was remanded in custody while Quartermaine was given conditional bail.

The pair are due to stand trial at Reading Crown Court on April 2.
