Illegal rave shut down in Crowthorne woods

An illegal woodland rave was shut down by police on Saturday, January 5.
Police showed up to the noisy party in Crowthorne woods at around 11pm and took two hours to shut it down.
Sound equipment was also seized from the rave where around 200 revellers gathered.
Inspector John Goosey, deputy LPA commander for Bracknell said: “Thames Valley Police has a robust response to illegal music gatherings.
“We understand the concern and disruption these illegal events can have on the local community and want to reassure people that we will always take robust action.”
To report suspect groups which may be setting up events illegally contact Thames Valley Police on 101 with a description and location to stop a rave before it has started.
